Однажды, проезжая поздно ночью, родители Тони, вместе с ним, решили остановиться в одном поместье на ночлег. В то время, как для его родителей – это было просто старое здание, сам Тони пришел в полный восторг, ведь поместье было довольно древнее и соответствовало тому образу, который он себе рисовал, когда читал книги о вампирах. Отец и мать, с иронией отнеслись к рассказам ребенка, о том, что в этом доме живет нечисть и отправили его спать. Но, мальчик так и не уснул. У него в спальне на самом деле оказался вампир. Это был его сверстник, по имени Рудольф. Они сразу стали лучшими друзьями и Рудольф берет Тони в путешествие по потустороннему миру. Тони был просто вне себя от счастья, ведь все во что он верил, все это оказалось правдой. В конце путешествия, Рудольф знакомит Тони со своей семьей, но они холодно отнеслись к человеческому ребенку.
